Brand negatives in more detail

Use brand negatives in Squared.io to help brand queries funnel to the relevant campaigns

To help ensure there are no brand queries leaking in via non-brand campaigns you can use the 'Brand negatives' feature in Squared.

Navigate to 'Optimize', 'Negatives' and 'Brand negatives'. Add the relevant brand keywords in Squared and then apply the 'Squared: Brand' label to any brand campaigns in your Google Ads accounts. We will then apply the brand negatives to all campaigns now and in the future which do not have the label applied.

This has the added benefit of improving suggestions in the Add Queries Tool as we'll know where to suggest brand and non-brand queries.

You can check which campaigns have the label applied by checking in the targeting download under the column "IsBrand".
