Review where accounts are competing via keywords, search, DSA, shopping or PMax queries
Our keyword overlap report surfaces duplicate keywords and queries across your Google Ads portfolio. This is particularly useful when you’ve got multiple accounts or brands operating in the same vertical and market – helping reduce internal competition. You can find the report in the group page using the “Keyword overlap XLSX” button. You can find more information on keyword overlap here.

We're now including Performance Max queries in this report, allowing you to see where PMax might be causing cross-account cannibalisation. Use the columns "ExactKeyword..." (this term is getting clicks as an exact match keyword), "Query..." (this is term getting clicks as a search, DSA, or standard shopping query), and "Pmax..." (this is term getting clicks as a query in PMax campaigns).
In the example below, the term "brand mobile" is being picked up by only Performance Max across both the Broadband and Mobile Phones accounts.

In this second example, the term "trainline" is getting traffic as both a search query and via Performance Max in the Train Brand B account. In the Train Brand C account this term is being picked up exclusively by Performance Max.
