What labels are available in Squared?

All of these labels must be applied at campaign level and in Google Ads. They have the following effects:

  • "Squared:ShoppingOnly"
    • Ensure queries triggered from the campaigns with the label do not appear in the add queries tool
    • Ensure queries triggered from the campaigns with the label do not appear in the paused queries penalty
    • Ensure ‘negatives for paused exact match keywords’ automation is not applied to campaigns with the label
    • Ensure negatives in Client Negatives, Group Negatives and Agency Negatives are still applied
  • "Squared:Brand"
    • To help ensure there are no brand queries leaking in via non-brand campaigns you can use the 'Brand negatives' feature in Squared.
    • Navigate to 'Manage', 'Negatives' and 'Brand negatives'. Add the relevant brand keywords in Squared and then apply the 'Squared: Brand' label to any brand campaigns in your Google Ads accounts. We will then apply the brand negatives to all campaigns now and in the future which do not have the label applied.
  • "Squared:Exclude"
    • Blocks this campaign from all automations and and insights
  • "Squared:Paused"
    • Applied to a paused campaign or ad group, it will be ignored by Squared.io. However, once the campaign is activated, the label is automatically removed and is treated like any other campaign in the account
